Capsilon Elevates Customer Experience and Talent with Key Exec Hires


Capsilon taps Nancy Koshiyama to head Global Talent, Barbara Competello to lead Global Customer Services 


We are excited to welcome two experienced leaders to the Capsilon family: Barbara Competello as the Senior Vice President of Global Customer Services, and Nancy Koshiyama as the Senior Vice President of Global Talent. This is a significant step in our company’s steadfast commitment to delivering industry-leading customer experience and creating a top-notch work environment for its employees.

Competello reimagining customer experience


Barbara Competello is spearheading Capsilon’s continuing commitment to deliver an industry-leading customer experience to 160-plus customers, helping those customers realize the expected business value in their mission-critical operations. Her first initiative at Capsilon is implementing a company wide initiative to elevate the customer experience with a focus on strategic executive level customer engagement and rapid deployment of Capsilon IQ solutions that deliver measurable ROI.

With more than 20 years of experience at enterprise software companies, Barbara was most recently a Senior Vice President of Services at Apttus and the Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Customer Services at Model N, where she was responsible for building the enterprise services, support, and managed services teams in addition to expanding Model N's presence on the East Coast, Chicago, Europe and India to serve large enterprise customers. Barbara holds a BS from Duke University in Economics and Computer Science and an MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.

Koshiyama driving talent growth and development

In her new role, Nancy Koshiyama leads Capsilon’s global talent expansion and people development. In the last year, Capsilon has grown over 20% to 450+ team members. With a global presence in the U.S., Belarus, India, and Poland, Capsilon employees come from diverse background and communities. She will work with teams across the company to foster an environment that helps employees be successful individually, as well as part of the team and drive results to help customers achieve their goals.

Nancy has more than 20 years of global HR experience leading and building HR teams. She has scaled technology companies from start-up mode to IPO to Fortune 500 ventures, including Ridecell, Marin Software, TiVo Inc, and Hewlett Packard, where she served as Vice President of Global Compensation. Nancy earned her M.A. in Education and Counseling from San Jose State University.
